Constantin Kronbichler 0171e23647 Revert "Revert fix bug that undefined internal is a warning only for -pedantic-errors
This reverts commit 9f283bfb9e66d57fefeb3a28318ec40081fa9a24 which was
a revert of commit e16882fc7416a30d56d5b5a19d549ca7c653e668; it
addresses the issue found by the failing buildbot.
